My garden is my special place - I have
an endangered Japanese plant that the
developers are having to work around!

Janice Caiger |
I like to shop with my neighbour in my
spare time.

Mavis Palmer |
My special place is in my garden with
my granddaughter who joins in to help!
 |
|

My special place where I like to relax
is the social club (where I work) with
a beer! I used to hang out in Middle
park when I was younger so that is a
special place for me too.

I love the beautiful countryside around
Kibblesworth, there are lots of walks
and so many birds around.

I was born in Kibblesworth and I
remember walking up to the pit to meet
my dad after work. You could never get
into the club as it was always packed
out with pitmen. The cricket and
bowling green used to look really nice,
with lovely railings all the way round.

Andrew McGuigan |
I grew up in Kibblesworth but now live
near Saltwell. I enjoy coming back to
see my Dad who has lived here all his
life.

David and John Copeland |
At one time everyone knew each other in
the village and we used to go to school
in the building that’s now the
Millennium Centre so it’s changed a bit
since then. Kibblesworth is set in a
lovely location and is great for
walking.

The Bowes railway line that runs past
Kibblesworth is my special place where
I go for a relaxing walk.

My special memory is attending primary

Our special memory was the community
festival day on Oct 1st 2011! We need
this sort of thing for the community.
The school is a special place for us
where we see our children learn and
develop and the park is special, where
we all love to play!

I think the scenery is the special
thing about Kibblesworth and the

Kibblesworth was a nice place to grow
up and I remember us playing in the
fields

We were born here and all our family

I like walking in the fields and used

I think Kibblesworth is special because
of the scenery.
